Very pleased to have the car back home, took far too long to do very little but not going to harp on, rather just happy to have the car back, driving with good brakes, engine running well, transmission shifting - i.e. a car again. Still some interior to finish of then MOT and road testing, already know the front wheel bearings are noisy so will need changed but there is always stuff that would need sorting post rebuild.

Indeed it does look good, very good. By the way... Keith's always right (apart from when he's wrong)

In keeping with most of the builds on this forum, time takes it's toll and work and other things just keep getting in the way of finishing the job. Not any longer. The car is finish and I've been out driving it today with a view of getting an MOT asap - this week. Still running the 2.7 and needing to balance up the carbs, but first impressions is the car drives well and handling like a dream, brakes are a tad soft as new pads/discs all round, engine pulls stong as expected. It's been well worth the wait, looking forward to racking up some miles over the end of the summer and autumn. I'll post more pics soon, time was better spent behind the wheel today.
