Brake Caliper Renovation Recommendation

Post by alfietom »

Can anyone recommend a 'Reliable' company who can renovate my Brake Calipers. Ideally I want them refurbished and coated all within a sensible turnaround time.
Thanks

Looks proper backstreet, does a great job. Used by many restorers (and me!)

I've used them several times over the years too - here's how the calipers from my old 912 were returned to me:

Any idea on approximate costs either per Caliper or per pair?

I think it was £78 per caliper when I used them a couple of years ago.

Hi Sam, just post them off under a tracked courier. They are back in about a week. Can’t fault classicar automotive for their service as the calipers are returned exactly as the photos above. Alan

Am I right in thinking the early 69-72 S caliper has a clear anodised aluminum finish rather than yellow passivate, I wonder if Classicar Automotive can do that as well?
cheers, Mike.

They can do clear as I requested mine to be in that finish.
