Re: Vote for a DDK car
This all turned out rather nicely...
My car garnered the most votes, which means that a DDK / 914world car has won Ultimate Porsche's Car Of The Year 2018!
No prize or anything I might have auctioned off for our charity... Lucky I'm in all this just for the glory![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Thanks again to everyone who voted

Re: Vote for a DDK car
Just seen this -- well done James.
Unless it is a case of mistaken identity it is probably the last car Chris and I worked on together! Wasn't it the white one in his workshop for a long time?

Vote for a DDK car
Indeed it was Steve.911MRP wrote: Unless it is a case of mistaken identity it is probably the last car Chris and I worked on together!
Chris took the car in for a standard service and tune up in March of the year before we lost him, just before his treatment got really heavy.
He and I made a personal agreement that I wouldn’t take the car until he finished the work (which took until the following Christmas)
I’m both proud and devastated that mine was the last car he invoiced.
Every time I drive it, I think of him.

Re: Vote for a DDK car
Poingnent. I think "CSI Willesden" wouldn't have to look very hard to find my DNA from barked knuckle skin on your car James -- tricky to get valve covers off with the upgraded engine bracketry etc iirc
I was very fortunate and a enjoyable privlige to spend four years part time on my hobby learning so much from the much missed maestro Chris.
