I've been recommended to use 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive. Lots of guys in the US have used this and Eric Shea did a good tutorial.

Spray adhesives are not satisfactory, they dry out and come unstuck. They have their uses, but for a vinyl top use the Woolies adhesive as linked to above. It’s what professionals use and with good reason.

That's good to know, Woolies it is then. I don't want to do it twice. Cheers.

Stephen,
Make sure the paint has ‘gassed off’ before attempting to fit vinyl. We fit a lot of graphics at work and always make sure the paint is at least six weeks dry. You will get bubbles under the surface as it releases from the fresh paint and blame the hell out of the glue!

Cheers Chief, I hadn't planned to get to it immediately - but I'll make sure I don't now for a couple of months to be safe.
