This looks great

It seems to have the right stance and is going to look fantastic - Will probably fool alot of the so called experts as well.

Have you done any close comparisons with a metal version ?

What sort of weight are you saving ? Are you going for a VW or 356/912 motor - that would really fool them ?!

Pity you had to put your house on the market to get it though !!!!

Keep up the good work

Hi there Jez

Cheers...i hope it does look good finished...its being an arse this morning though...

ive had a look at a few but mostly pics as there arent many a's around where i live.

The car apparently ways 5kilos more than an original when complete but ive gutted the car and taken as much out as poss so hopefully will be nice and light.

regarding the motor its running a 2.0type4 with a flat cooling setup and 44's....

oh yeah thats my neighbours house for sale!

So it will be a bit of an outlaw racer then ?

I had a 2056cc type4 in my Chesil with 44 IDAs which went like stink ! I ran a cog box transmission that held it all together and solid mounts - when it was running well it was the fastest thing I have driven !!

I think it is certainly going to be a very popular machine when you have finished.

If you are stuck on any A coupe where things go questions just let me know even though it looks like you have the right idea already - they are very simple.

I am surprised by the weight but that might be a good thing really as it will probably be very stiff ?

All the best
