What is this? A Horn?

Post by Porscheblue »

Hello!
Only recently bought my 1969 LWB Golden Green Porsche 912!
I was looking at the front luggage area and found this below.
Can it be a horn? Really?

Thanks Adrian.

Well its not standard fitment!

Is it under the front wing by the grill? A better picture would help showing the surrounding area

Hi Sean,
Yes it’s under a hinged flap top left of the
luggage compartment. Will try to video.

Adrian.

Yes. Thank you.
Some sort of gas fuelled heater?
Next to the petrol tank. Great.
Apparently also used for drug transport.
Shall I keep it in, or remove it for drugs
storage?

Yep, It's a heater, it uses a small amount of your petrol from your fuel tank. I wouldn't run it unless it's been thoroughly overhauled.
