Has anyone on here fitted a tow bar to a 914???

Been in touch with these guys who will make a custom tow bar but its pretty costly!!!

Thanks for your message bud. I contacted Watlings and the part is obsolete but they are willing to make a one off...£600 + VAT and they need my car for a day to custom make a tow bar.

Is it a towbar to haul a trailer, or a towbar to move your 914 around easily? If the latter, when my import arrives from the USA, there will be such a tow bar in the boot. I'll have no real need for it, so it will be for sale, cheap. Will provide photo if this is of interest.

Thank dude...one plan of action was to tow a small trailer. However a boot rack has been tried and tested and seems to be enough extra capacity for camping road trips...
