Apologies for being absent. I was away biking in Lanzarote last week (suffering for being 10kgs too heavy) when Mrs B messaged to say she was going on weekend retreat and gave me a long list of places I had to take the kids to Normally I would of told her to stick it but given that I had been away for a week on my own I thought I was on shaky ground

Well what a great day out!

Met faces both old and new. Had almost a full rainbow of colours at Newport pagnell. Marcus broke down with two fuel pumps being the issue! Who knew more should be less.
Set off once we had all cars running with our car leading as no one want us behind them due to dodgy brakes
A meander up the m1 to be greeted at the show by Danny busy organising the parking, (many thanks for all of your hard work, we owe you a pint some time soon).

Let’s just say a spirited drive home ensued with Paul911 bating an Austin metro of all things.

Hopefully Marcus has got home in one piece

A wonderful day out and brilliant pictures Danny!

It was really good to have the drive over together, then get to meet and chat with like minded individuals new and old and see a wonderful selection of cars.

A special thank you to Sean, Paul & Martyn for their expertise and risk to life (sticking screw drivers into plug leads with styrofoam cups of petrol close by as I cranked it over) for getting me going at Newport Pagnell services so I got to make it to Stanford Hall. I got home in one piece, but the car was not very happy at lower revs and very lumpy, so something still not quite right.

Thank you very much again Danny for organising the day and posting out the passes etc. We certainly owe you a pint or two for that. Thanks for the weather too, I just have to nurse my sunburnt neck today!

good to meet you all, My little lad and I enjoyed the run up from Newport Pagnell, Not sure how many times he shouted across to me ' I think we got ourselves a convoy!'
