just about to book Portsmouth Caen

Here's an idea how about some "DDK on Tour" race number door stickers, would be a good way to advertise the club (as long as the they dont hurt the paintwork!)

So what day's best to travel then? I've seen some people going on the Thursday, others the Friday. I've never been before so maybe someone could tell me what happens and when.

I'm planning on traveling on the Thursday with the aim of arrival at the circuit for Thursday afternoon / eve

Wednesday overnight ferry,then a "leisurely" drive down to get there Thursday afternoon.

Hopefully Luke has booked the following:

Outbound crossing:
Portsmouth to Caen Wed 5 Jul 2006 Depart 23:15 Arrive 07:15

Inbound crossing:
Caen to Portsmouth Mon 10 Jul 2006 Depart 17:00 Arrive 21:45

Getting down there for Thursday lunchtime (or earlier) is perfect timing IMHO.

If 'we' get some stickers made up - could we do a joint DDK and PCGB one

. . . . all in the interest of cross party relations

. I could come up with a design . . . does anyone know a cheap/free sticker manufacturer (Boosty)?

On the subject of PCGB . . . you guys will need to be members to get the club package (including fast parade laps - if you buy them). More details are being published in Jan's 'Post' . . . . which I will re-produce here, so don't need to join until just (a couple of weeks) before you book.

Great idea Phil, I can get them made up, in fact I can have magnetic ones made up which would probably be better. I'll leave you to sort the design and get the 'powers at be' to approve it

Posting the details on here would be good - and then I'd best join

Suppose I'll have to pay a joining fee again? So be it.

Booked the same one as Phil(out Weds 11.15pm,back Mon 5.0pm) £249,
thay take £20 now,the rest in May ISTR.
