I used this.
Good adhesion and easy to work with.

Warning don’t just use any vinyl spray adhesive sticking on your sail panel vinyl.

Use a professional high temperature spray adhesive.

The reason is when it gets hot from the sunlight there is a high chance the domestic adhesives will cause the vinyl to bubble when the adhesive gets hot!

Nice to see Simon’s old 914 looking very smart since the days I use to see it driving around Wimbledon, that is down to your hard work Adrian. Well done.

I will concur with Kev on that. I used some standard upholstery adhesive on my roof lining when I first got my car. Parked up somewhere and came back to it hanging off everywhere. Even on a moderately warm day the black roof absorbed the heat really easily, and I imagine the sails will also do the same. I bought some high temp trimmers adhesive and haven’t had any problems since.

Well a year to the day since I went down to Wimbledon to buy my 914 and this afternoon I completed the tidy up.

Well I had a bit of a rush of blood to the head this evening and decided I could wait no longer for the maiden voyage. :)
