Hi all
I'm in need of some help regarding rear anti roll bar mounts.
My car has none.

No brackets on the chassis, I've purchased theses and will have them welded on.

I have no mounting balls on the trailing arms. How do I solve this? I cannot find the ball mounts to weld on. But my internet travels tonight suggest that there are option to bolt to the spring arms. Anyone done this? What's the best way to solve?

Do you still have steel banana arms?
If so you can readily weld on ball pins to the arms by drilling then OR weiltmeister (spelling) do or did a spring arm mounted ball jointed drop link bolt that substituted for one of the eccentric bolts.
I did this before I modified my arms but sold the parts ages ago.
Weiltmeister may still make these parts, our Keith Sumes has these on his early 911 I think.

I made the inserts for my arms fore rose jointed drop links, still have them!

You can also still get the pins for the trailing arms, they just need to be drilled and welded in the correct position

Thanks guys, that was a quick response and really helpful. Yes steel trailing arms. I was struggling to identify that pin. That looks the more straight forward approach rather than bolting to the spring arm.

Any advice for welding them on. Conrad tells me that there is a dimple on the arm. Just drill, add pin and weld around? Any special alignment to consider?

Suspension is ready for powder coating so I'm keen to clear this small hurdle.

The steel reinforcing brackets have a pressed flat on then.
Centre punch in the middle of it and drill so that the taper reaches the arm itself and drill more so the tip passes into the arm fully and that aligns it all. You obviously need to open the bracket hole to allow things to move into position.

I simply arc welded mine in place around the tip and the shoulder around the ball.
Keep the heat to a minimum around the shoulder as I think the ball is hardened.
Welding bothe contact points stabilises the shaft really well as there is quite a load applied via the roll bar.
Worked for years before converting to alloy arms which have the ball already in place.

I got the ARB pins from Porsche and Conrad has drilled through and welded on. All the suspension is back from powder coating, apparently looking great. i've not seen it yet.

I am using Microsoft OneDrive. The system produces a http link which you simply paste into the post.

The advantage of OneDrive is that it is the future of computing as it provides a cloud based solution for all your needs. It doesn't rely solely on revenue for photo storage. Its therefore far more financially viable then any photo storage solution and is likely to be around for a long time.

As a reminder almost two years ago to the day the car arrived on my drive from the US having stood for around 20 years.

all of the suspension was powder coated and made ready for go back onto the shell, more of the shell work to come.

The shell was a bit worse than I thought it would be, I should have expected that, right? I did to a degree. The car had been rust protected earlier in its life which has left me with the original floors, inner wings, tank support, inner and outer sills/rockers, doors, bonnet, engine lid (sort of, i'll come to that) were all in good condition. From just below the waist the car was in good shape. Front wings/fenders were junked, it needed kidney bowls so I opted for full rear quarters. It need a new license plate panel and rear bumper corners and parcel shelf. Something nasty was lurking at the bottom of the A post/windscreen corner. the car was bad at waist level.
