I called Brittany Ferries about a discount and yes there is one for 'rallies' with more than 10 cars . . . . however it's only 10% and I'd have to co-ordinate it all (i.e. collect everyones payments and pay them in one go . . . this means financial comittment from people and me) . . . so I wasn't very keen. Unfortunately there wasn't a way of giving people a password to quote on booking . . . it's all in one go or nothing. Only positive is if we got over 21 cars that 21st car (which would be mine
) would get a free ferry ticket.
Do people think it's worth the hassle for £25?

I would say no - 50% maybe......
Just post dates and times and we'll all do our own thing and then blow the bloody doors off the ferry when we start up on arrival in France

In July? Don't think so.......bjmullan wrote:I'm not a big ferry fan, I like the turn up and go of the tunnel. Anyone else thinking about the tunnel as an option? You can do it for £88 return

I am reading this thread from Oz and now can't sleep for all of the exitement!! I cannot wait to book in Jan.
The things is I hate Ferry's and sea crossing as I get really sick if they are rough so I am keen to go the quickest route with the shortest crossing or the Chunnel.
If I have to do the long crossing then I am gonna have to try to sleep through the basket crossing. Not sure if I can do 6 hours on a ferry.
One of the best parts of going to Le Mans is convoying with other cars. Lets make sure we all meet up and get a good run down togeather. This is going to be awesome.
I hope the 356 mob and 914's join us aswell.
