The split-window above is a mixture - it has been fitted with later post-'54 oval-window tail lights ...
Mine must have been a '54 model then

Went in the 356 today to the Canford Classics Porsche Pull In. Great hospitality, free (proper) coffee and tasty bacon sausage and egg baps, with contributions to a local hospital charity. And great weather too.

Took myself to Oulton Park - fabulous cars, and glorious weather.

Saw 911hillclimber's car, but didn't see the owner!

Looked for you Arfor!
John said you were 'over there' but you disappeared!

Today, I proudly walked within the hallowed grounds of the PCGB with my DDK T shirt on but nobody noticed, thus I MUST be invisible. :)
There tomorrow in the Boxster, so might see you there Arfor?

Unfortunately, staying at home today.

But there was a lovely study in contrasts opposite the PCGB tent - I wonder how many people noticed?

Occupying centre stage was a (991) 911 GT3 RS which is arguably one of the fastest/most powerful 911s that Porsche has produced, and parked immediately alongside was my very standard 911 T which must be the slowest/least powerful 911 ever made!

Went back to Oulton today in luxury (compared to the old 911 hot rod) and very nearly fell in love with it.

But Arfor is right, the loads of 'muscle' 911's at the PCGB enclosure was amazing, just tons of 400+ bhp monsters nearly out numbering the humble Boxsters.

Got the yellow car out and discovered some more nice roads close to where I now live. Trying to get my driving mojo back

Ahhh, that will explain why I couldn't see your car there...

Minimal early Porsche presence today, I counted one car (white '73 targa) in the PCGB area and that was it!

Good racing, nightmare traffic when we left.

That would be John in his 73S Targa, the only early car there. There were 5 early cars there yesterday.
We left at 4.30pm and had a good cruise home once the wizzzzz kid in the fiesta was done overtaking the mighty Boxster.
Wife couldn't tolerate 2 consecutive days with the 911. :)
