When you attach the photos it doesn't look as clean.

It has to reduce the size for the preview

If the viewer clicks on the preview though they are a good quality?

Of course please keep using tapatalk, Flickr etc as well - in fact it's preferred as hosting all these pictures will cost me additional server fees

I have spent the past few days uploading my photos to Flickr and editing my DDK posts to these links. Not the nicest job and very time consuming so best done in sessions. If anyone is contemplating doing the same I would recommend doing so BEFORE Photobucket turns off your access since it would be much easier to make the changes if you can see the photos.

I printed off my entire resto thread before the photos were blocked so as I have something to refer to.

Hopefully my restoration records has been saved as I commissioned a book to be printed a couple of months ago and they finished typing up the last few pages this week..... fingers crossed!

I have just tried to log into my photobucket account and used the recover my account link but there is nothing there and it tells me my details are not valid, and I need to cough up if I want to use it in the future. Nothing on there I hadn't already saved elsewhere. What a bunch of buggers!!

So, can I load a picture direct into DDk or will I need to sign up to another hosting site?

You can now upload photos direct - using Flickr or somewhere else is preferable but the option to upload to the server is there

My photobucket is still working, luckily, so I'm just downloading the whole thing to reload to flickr!

What a pain, at least I can still see mine I guess.

I've downloaded one large album but can't seem to download another with 1800 pics without the final compressed file being corrupted
