Another 'what's it worth' question

Post by Tony »

I notice on the "Automobilia Auktion Ladenburg' site that a supplement for the 964 RS users manual was sold for over €700!
Now that was a German version, I've recently found tucked away with some old RS stuff an Italian one.
Is that rarer and more valuable or common and worth less :?

Supply and demand should dictate that Italian literature is harder to find and therefore more valuable. It certainly is in the pre 74 era. However, the Italians (save for a few) don’t seem to be as bothered about having this kind of thing so the market for buying is much smaller. You have to try and find the right buyer with the right car, an Italian delivered car (missing its literature) now in the UK or Germany would be your best bet.
Might be less than a dozen potential buyers.

Regards
Mike
