FIRST OFF-Under no circumstances buy any of these cheap cigarette lighter powered heaters. THEY ARE MINCE!!!!!
All they do is blow what little heat your body has managed to develop away!
But.....read on, they also do direct wire (meaning it can draw more current) 300W ones that kick out 1100btu's of heat. I quite fancy giving one of these a try.
Also, on the same site, I see that they do HEATED SEAT kits. Heated seats are lovely especially on a cold winters day.
My speedster is fitted with J-Tubes. The sills have clips for running ducting down and riser tubes at the front. What I can't figure out is how to route the connection between the heat exchanger (if I fit them) and the pipe in the sill. It's got to fight its way past the trailing arm. Anybody been there/done it?

For heated seats, I recommend these guys:-
http://www.warmseats.com/

I retro fitted a pair of their heated seat kits to my chesil's leather covered seats and they work great.

Cost was something like £100 for the pair, including the loom and switches.
They were reasonably easy to fit (I have the modern GM seats), though perhaps not a job for the faint hearted.

It's the one at $129.95 thats the BIG BOY! It draws the most current (25A). Probably sooks your battery to death in 5mins, but, what a loveley warm 5 mins they will be!!!!!
Do you find the heated seats make life MUCH more bearable in the colder weather? My Volvo has them and they are nice on colder days but....it's enclosed.
