There were a few on the camping list that I didn't get a chance to speak to / meet , so apologies if that was the case.
Great time. Thanks James for all your efforts. Your deal with the devil on the weather worked wonders.

Yes thanks for helping out the last minute for us too. Sorry I didn't get to meet you. I did look once but you were in the shower of something. I ended up camped right next to the 4 people I already knew!

Well I am shocked at these rose tinted comments, my experience was somewhat different;

Turned up on Friday and there was no one to greet us!, had to pitch our own tents next to a very untidy central DDK area where the bins were still full, no covered parking so my car had to sit outside unprotected from the elements! Evidence of alcohol misuse which had clearly affected DDK'ers ability to function, no catering provided for our Saturday night meal in fact we had to do our own cooking.
Having been looking forward to it quite frankly we were disappointed, the DDK'ers that we did meet seemed to engage is unusual conversation which was clearly disrespectful of each other :shock:

Personally I think you all need to take a good hard look at yourselves!

Yep, well organised James thanks, it was a pleasure to meet everyone.

We could tell it had been a big first night after we arrived on Friday afternoon to find tumbleweed blowing through the central area and not much sign of life, good effort!

My first CLM and definitely enjoyed it, although I think we would be hard pressed to beat that weather, glad to see everyone got home safe.

See you all again.

Did anyone else meet Dave with the purple & pinstriped "LAMBO!!", he was opposite us. I bet you can't guess his occupation?

Actually a very successful horologist who's owned dozens of Lambo's and Ferrari's in his time.

A great guy and colourful character :)
