This British company supply kits to make carbon fiber components. Here they show how they made a carbon fiber bonnet using the original car panel as a mold.

Yes I've watched that a few times - came to the conclusion that it's only worthwhile if you're going to tool up and produce a few - otherwise it's a lot of effort to save a few hundred - I believe you can get carbon boots and bonnets for about £850 a popsisu wrote:This British company supply kits to make carbon fiber components.
