'73 F series clock repairer?

Post by von Zipper »

Hi guys, where can I get my VDO Quartz clock fixed? It's decided not to work anymore, and the bezel is crimped on as you know, so not easy to get to the works without damage?

Our own JohnM on Ddk has a complete thread on here about his DIY repair with great pictures if you fancy having a go at it yourself.

Regards
Mike

I have never seen a quartz clock for a ´73 model. To my surprice, I can see that the PET lists the quartz clock as correct for the model year 1973. What is the date stamp on the back of your clock?

Quartz clock was introduced on the RS (and probably other models) around March 73 if I remember correctly.
