If you've never driven one make sure you try one (or better still, a few) before you commit ...

Good advice!

I had one for a few years a while back. It was beautiful to look at but a bit of a pig to drive imho. It could have just been my car, but it was quite slow and wandered around the road like an old bus. I did like it though!

Cheers,

One of the very best car related programs currently on TV imho.
Last night was good, the AC.

How that all gets done in 3 weeks is a slice of magic.
Plastic rear screen forming was a cherry on the cake.

Informative and entertaining with real dirty hands with real people. No F'in and Blindin' too, whatever next?

It is a good show however I do find the staged "blagging" to supposedly get parts cheap a bit irritating and the show would be all the better without this...

Is it on any other channel(s) apart from National Geographic ?

I watched previous series (although that 'Tim' gets on my nerves) but can't remember what channel it was on.

love this show - its one of the few "makeover" type shows where they do a good honest job, with a focus on what the owner would actually want or need!

^^ Totally Agree^^

Andy,
wife seems to remember that it is available on another channel, but not the current series, just the old ones.
I think you have a soft-spot for these cars, so worth a look on google?

I with the 'Tim time' blagging was spent on the actual bonding of the lower body sills to the original alum body, that would have been interesting!
Glad that the fab interior was left 'as-is (was)'.

Just a very nice car, and the metallic green one from the owner's club was rather nice too on black wires.
There should have been more on the TR engine re-build as the place used looked to do a great job.

Still a good episode. :drunken:

It will be shown on channel 4 later in the year, episodes from previous series are available to view on more 4.

I must say its a pleasure to work on the show, seriously hard work with tight deadlines but seeing the owners surprise makes it all worth it.

Next weeks is great episode...

I enjoyed it but must admit that I cringed when Tim started telling porkies and fast forwarded through them.
They do a good job and seem like genuine enthusiasts so I am not sure why they think they need to do this shifty stuff.
What happened to integrity?
