Lovely lovely work. I had a sharp intake of breath when I saw how much was missing around the torsion tube. It was also a job to work out the correct order of the pictures - really fascinating to see it all build up like this from basically nothing
The simple things you see are all complicated

With the repairs completed, the torque tube area could get a couple of heavy doses of black etch primer. the holed heater tube was repaired, painted, welded in and the area prepared for closing off with the outer section

Bottom section done Barry moved to upper front end, panel part made by hand and partly with the pullmax, the shape being more complicated than appears to fabricate....

Now over to near side to repeat. Torque tube is better but inner wing worse...

I know its already been said before, but the level of craftsmanship being done here is incredible. Its all in the detail.
