At motorways speeds i cant see anything in my mirriors......they shake like hell.....lol....i have found that twisting the rear view mirrior to the rhs side allows a decent view of the rear and rhs...at the same time.....but then again...

im too busy looking at hot chicks, overtaking, looking at the fuel gauge do the swing thing (full tank to empty) to care whats behind me.... unless it got those ice cream van lights.......then im a model citizen....officer.....

I'm cutting back to one mirror too. I'm glad Nick's clarified things. My guess is that people put two mirrors on in the 80's when all cars started coming with two to make them look more modern (!)
