There's a 66 RHD for sale at Williams Crawford in Cornwall at the moment.

Not many RHD 912's about according to the Crawford website, though 10 may be a bit optimistic / pessimistic (depending on your perspective)?!

£47,500 plus shipping and import charges for a rather rough looking 912? Why?

Why ? Because its New Zealand, they have had very restrictive car importation for years and the prices there are sky high compared to everywhere else. Thats why it will probably stay in NZ !

When I lived there in the late 80's it was like 1950's Britain, all Morris and Austin, people really looked after their cars because imports were staggeringly expensive and the old Brits had been made locally in period.

I know all about the duties and taxes, the question was aimed at the OP. Why would anyone here even consider a car at that price?
