Carnage at Castle Combe on their recent "Action Day". 10 minutes of all the reasons I'd never join one of those days... too much "Action".

Hayden Paddon WRC driver entered a Mk2 Escort into the Southern NZ Rally for a laugh. He was 2 seconds faster over the first 5km than the 2nd place car, a Mitsi EVO9. He lost some ground on the stages, but crawled back 12 sec in the final 10km. Winning the overall rally by 2.5 seconds. It is the first time a 2wd car has won a round of the Rally since Neil Alport in an RX7 in May 1987.
