Never had the pleasure of his work directly, but his inspiration made me remove a couple of bits I had done myself on my car, then do themagainto a much higher standard!
Does that count?

Was he wearing this garment Mark or have you been "borrowing" from washing lines?

I think many of us have been 'Barry'd' and I for one inspired by his invisible patching.

also the advice you get is priceless.

Finally got some Argon/CO2 gas mix for my SIP hobby welder.

Stunning difference to my welds. Have turned the thing down to MIN power and I can pull a fully penetraited seam of MIG on an 18 SWG but weld with no blow through.
Just used it on my Lambretta restoration and it sure works for me.

Some time ago Barry mentioned to me that once a project left him he rarely saw it again and no one ever sent him photos! :( .....

.....a little while later another Barry'd DDK'er mentioned he'd said the same to them......and then another.....

....so a few of us got together and we decided to do something about it! .......
