Hi to all

Post by Marnie1 »

Hi I've been a regular visitor to DDK site over the years. I used the site to find parts for a RHD '67 912 that I imported from South Africa which with the help of Chris Turner and 911 Bodyshop had an engine and gearbox conversion (2.7 k jet on triple choke webers 160 hp) which I used as my everyday car for years. I sold that car to fund my second project.....a 1966 RHD 912 which I am preparing to sell....
Through the work of Chris Turner the engine was changed and is now a rebuilt 3.0 with uprated cam timing and brand new studs, married up to a reconditioned 915 gearbox. It runs on refurbished triple webers which were correctly jetted by Bob Watson Engineering and the car achieved 199 Bhp on his rolling road. There were many other upgrades, all of the work completed is documented. There are still however one or two finishing details needed but the car has Brand new mot, fuel pump and battery.
Please contact me if you are interested.

I believe I took this photo of a detail on Marnie's car. Might have been his first car though, and not the current one for sale, but at least the thread gains a JPEG.

Crikey, is all this why For Sale threads are normally locked :-)

This sort of thing is quite nice, a bit rough & ready though, but you get the idea :)
