Hi.
I have just received the COA from Porsche for my 58 A cab.
I imported it 10 years ago from Denver.
Turns out that it was originally sold in Libya.
Now I did not expect that !!
Any one have any idea how many were sold over there?
Guessing not many.
Or is just a mistake?
Cheers.
John.

Re: Porsche COA
Hi John,
They were certainly sold there and pretty much any other country you can think of so it's unlikely to be a mistake.
It's impossible to know how many were sold there though.

Re: Porsche COA
Might have an interesting first owner?

Re: Porsche COA
The Kardex might tell you a bit more; like the dealer, and possibly the first owner.
Porsche historian & researcher, contact me for Kardex through 1969 model year.

Re: Porsche COA
The selling dealer is down as Pagani in tripoli.
I guess it could have had an interesting first owner.
Not sure if that would be a good or bad thing!
Had a quick look on google for the dealer but no results.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Re: Porsche COA
The COA information comes from the Kardex.
A lot of the Kardexes have little information and quite frequently not the first owner.
