Re: Zenith ndix
You could have a go yourself, they're a nice carburetor to work on and there's pretty much everything you would ever need to know in the tech section of the 356 Registry.
If however, they are shagged I would say PR Services are the people to talk to.
Regards, Mike.

David,
You can buy rebuild kits from www.stoddard.com Look on their website catalog for the items. I have always worked on mine and also correct as already mentioned there are help pages available. Often its gaskets that fail and possibly the accelerator pump pistons or fuel needle valves. They seem a reliable carb to me once all petrol leaks are sorted. Once you know what is available you might also get the parts from Roger Bray or others. PRS certainly no doubt have also seen their fair share of 32 NDIX carbs needing work as mentioned above. If the butterfly shafts are worn out then sure, it really needs a specialist as only the normal wear parts are supplied in the kits as far as I know.
How bad are they? do you know that the jets are all the correct sizes? What makes you think they need a full rebuild?

Re: Zenith ndix
Just seen this.
I had my Zenith carbs completely refurbished by The Carburetter Exchange a couple of years ago.
http://www.carbex.demon.co.uk/
I have to say what an awesome job they did of them. These carbs were a right gungy rusty mess to start with, with missing components and wrong jets fitted. Shame I forgot some before pictures. Check out the pictures, they have been fully cleaned and rebuilt to correct specs. All the missing parts have been replaced and the throttle spindles have been rebushed. The fittings have all been replated or chemically brightened and the base has been stove enamled. They have also been engine tested plus they come with a 12 month guarantee. Thouroughly recommended... ;D ...only 300 quid for the pair but the prices may have increased since then!!

Better than a pair of 36 DDs & despite the £300 price tag, less maintenance.

Re: Zenith ndix
36 double D's ? that took me a moment, very nearly reached for my big book of carburetors to look them up.
The Zeniths look great James, that's a good company to know about.
Regards, Mike.
