Almost a James 'special' road, although it was missing the grass down the middle! Lovely drive though.

All looks simply fab from Gary's usual 'snaps'

2 years to go and would love to try it in the 911 but mine's not as shiny as all those above.
That pic with the sea in the background must be a calendar contender? :drunken:

Yes, why not?
The coastal route you all took looks great.
My daughter did the same to the real Le Mans in the Bay Window a few weeks ago.

James,

Sorry to have missed you guys, hope all went well and you didn't get too wet. Missed your call as was out racing.

Superb Weekend.

Didn't finish practice til early Sat morning so missed your Porsche parade Laps as too early for us. Hijacked three French cars later on the formation grid and got the kids in a Boxster, 458 Spider and 355 for the Parade Laps so they were impressed, particularly when the 355 spun at Mulsanne. Driver told my daughter he "wasn't a very good pilote" when they set off so at least he didn't tell lies!

Good bits
Talbot G0 52 won Grid 1. GB's driving superb.
356 did a 5.43 in qualifying which was impressive.
Elite 2nd in Index of Performance Grid 3
Elva P2 after 2nd Race in Grid 4, infront of all except one GT40, and all Ferrari's, Porsche's, Cobra's, E-Types, the lot.
I drove the Elva for the first time in anger (and in the dark!)
Rain which made driving exciting
Sharing a Navette with Jochen Mass and Brian Johnson
Sticker on the Hotel Toilet Door. Can't post photo's or I'd be up for liable but it is Porsche related. KS will have picture I'm sure as was at same hotel.
Got a full set of plastic beer mugs and XXL shirts that fit.

Bad bits
Other Talbot DNF
Elva DNS Race 3 due to loose wire on formation. What could have been!
LM rep putting 356 out.
Getting up at 5 to drive home this morning.

Roll on 2016.

Michael.

Some snaps from Mrs B. Not too many because we only had one charge of the photo!

My first fan belt change of the trip. I've learnt my lesson and I'm getting some proper ones. Jakki told me the countryside was amazing but I had only eye for the pulley halves!

Image

I'm not sure why I'm posting this but it gives you an idea of the access you get in the paddocks. However, it doesn't show the chaos of the cars, assistants/drivers on bikes, motorbikes. buses, trains, VIP in jeeps all trying to use the same bit of road. Some how it works. However, Jakki almost got taken out by a Plateau 1 race car reserving at high speed without warning.

There was a of 4 cam, 8 cylinder and flat 6 904 racing

I think this is a 275 GT? I didn't see an 250 racing this year?

Image

Really wonder cars outside the Ferrari exhibition

Image

The fastest 356 at Le Mans?

Image

I believe this is a Osca?

Image

Not racing but looking quite pretty

Image

I think this is Plateau 3 lined up for qualifying?
