Folder with roadbook from RAC Rally in 1970, saved by Lars Helmer, from competition in 1970 when Waldegard / Helmer drove the Porsche 911 ST in Porsche factory car.

What a great collection of memorabilia from the 1970 RAC Rally.
I had just started to get interested in rallying and at that time it started at Heathrow, just down the road. After watching the start went back home, changed the front subframe on my Cooper S and went off to North Wales on the Monday to watch them in Clocaenog Forest.

Great read. The highest placed British crew included Willy Cave, who this year on his way to completing the Monte Carlo Historique Rally, in 67th place I believe, celebrated his 87th birthday.
An inspiration to us all!
