Who supplies replica parts???

Post by John K. »

Who is the best supplier of parts for a 356 build? Rear lights, gauges, Indicators, handles etc etc.

I'm looking for good quality parts but not sure who supplies what and which quality, or are they all much of a muchness? I've browsed SMC and they have a good stock list etc but Is there a good UK supplier?

If anyone can point me in the right direction i'd really appreciate it, my chassis is moving on but I want to start getting the parts ready for the body.

Cheers.

http://www.parts-wise.com/porsche-356 in Netherlands seem to offer a lot of parts for reasonable prices.

Thank you all for the replies.

I should have made the title clearer as I meant who will supply parts for replica cars opposed to who will provide replica parts.

My first purchases are the rear lights and Indicators as I believe I need them to be able to cut the holes in the body. I think SMC look to sell good quality items on those so that'll be the choice.

As it progresses I'll look at starting a build thread.

Eeehhh... What's the difference?

You can use replica parts (or original for that matter), because those parts can be used for replica cars.

What -in your opinion- is the difference between 'Parts for replica parts' and 'replica parts'?

Just don't mention that the parts are destined for a replica.....
