I'll fax him over the form he and Mike Manuel (project manager) signed then - it is a bespoke discount based on the job (complexity), but 10% has been the norm. As it says in the members discounts areas of the forum quote DDK0101 when booking your car in.
I bought a pair of 964 belts off ebay but there are a few bits of the trim missing. I thought if I coul d get a brand new set for £50 it would be worth it. Come to think of it I think they're securon belts too.
Just got my belts from Euro Car Parts. Opened the first box - no buckle part for it. Opened the second and found a buckle, but also a second hand seat belt that has obviously already been installed in at least one car. Hmmm.
Looks like I'll be paying a visit to their Wmbley branch on my way home tomorrow. Might pop into the Ace afterwards so I'll see anyone there.
i just ad some rear belts fitted at quick fit and the 10% discount was refused as well......i collected the car today and had to pay as stuart wasnt there........is there any way someone could speak to stuart as he could get alot of work form DDK , at least before Andy's great find !

Have a look in the members discount section and it does say that the discount is specific to the complexity of the job. You have to quote the reference number when booking your car in.
However, given that two people have had little joy with the discount we may look to remove the plug for them.

I wasn't complaining about ddk's involvement in the 10% discount, but rather Stuart at Quickfits failure to honour his word. As far as quoting the reference and the complexity of the job that's b******t, it just means people are left to negotiate once the job is done, which is always going to be a struggle.
As far as his attitude goes, when I first went to see him last year with my ddk membership card, he half joked he'd charge me 10% more, ha, ha, really funny.
Although he does a good job,he is expensive (and seems to have cornered the market). I don't think people should be referred there on false promises.

Have you been able to fit the securon belts successfully in place of the old static ones?

My car is still a few weeks off having any interior so I haven't tried yet. However, looking at the contents I don't think it will be a problem. M12 bolt to put the reels onto the inner wing behind the seats, and then the rest bolts to the seat frame if I remember.
My seat frames are in bits too so I can't check that bit but if you want I'll photograph what you get for your £25. I'm sure that price is a mistake on their computer so I'd get them quick if I were you. I'm sure Gary71 has fitted a set.
Well I've ordered them today at the £24 or so price each (along with rear wheel bearings at just £19 + VAT), so I'll let you know Alan whether they fit or not after the weekend.
The presence of the fixing mount on the inner wing for the intertial reel is my only concern...
BTW - There's a guy at Euro Car Parts Leeds branch (Stuart Tunstall on 0113 394 5000) who will give a 10% discount off basic trade to any one of us. Leeds may not be your local branch, but he will ship to / arrange collection from any branch local to you. Well worth a call.

Well I don't know if this helps but I saw the shell of an early car today. I'm not the worlds greatest expert but it had 911L on the glove box and different (to mine) rear light lenses which have the reflector built in. Not sure of the year but it didn't have the mounts in the rear inner wings.
I've not fitted mine just yet (too busy with other Porsche related tasks that I'm about to post up), but I have seen the mounting points in the rear wing of my '72 car.
I guess I'll probably need to create a small hole in the trim for the securing bolt to pass through - I'll post up pictures when I've completed the job.
