I've run them on the 928 (in competition) - tried two set ups - 185/70 *15 all round , and with 215/70's on the back.
Both sets ups were fine ... I just could not justify the cost of the wider tyres (lasting circa 100 competitive miles !!) ... even with the improved traction ... cough.

Yes, I'm sure that will happen. It's a Porsche 911, it should be capable of a bit of fast driving (as long as I keep on the tarmac). :)

I did deliver a valuable cargo down to Early911. There was an empty engine compartment that needed filling soon.

The Carrera's rebuilt engine & gearbox had been stored at my place of work but it was now time to dust the pallet down and set off to Sussex.

I'd forgotten just how good the engine & gearbox looked.
It'll be a treat bolting them in. 8)

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm certain they'll be great tyres.

I'm sure I have said this before (probably about a hundred pages back by now) but my car had the original Fuchs wheels with it and they were 6" on the front and 7" on the rear.
But I'm 'upgrading' to 7's & 8's so I purchased a pair of 8" rims from Nick.
They will be detailed to match the sevens (which will become my 'fronts').

Hope you put the bolts in the "right" way round (so they can be removed without gearbox removal) ? ... here is where someone tells me there was a mod done so on this year of car it does not matter !! ??

... in which case disregard above !

Ohps , I see in earlier photo ... so that's a yes

Yes, Nick's wise to that. In fact it's normally him that cautions others of the correct way to install.

It's a new Porsche pump. I managed to find the last OPC with one in stock (Colchester) and snapped it up.
