Well it's looking good for the trip but not so good for the convoy. Jane is wanting me to drive down early Saturday morning, so we get a day out in Southampton. I was looking forward to the drive down in convoy but it looks like I'll have to drop out and see you down there later. - Sorry
I have hinted about this before (and was going to leave it as a surprise), but seeing as you've starting talking about pink handcuffs (and the fact the KS has aksed about it on the early 911 PCGB forum) . . I think it's time to tell.
The Gay Classic Car Group will be an Beaulieu on the same day as us . . . here's their website www.gccg.org.uk
Yes the board know it about and yes . . . so does Fred . . . . I think it will be pretty cool . . . just need to make sure we can the signage right, so people know where to go when they turn up.
I'm personally hoping to recruit new members to the register.
It's not that much of a surprise it's been listed on the Beauleiu events page for a good while now
Yes I know . . . but who looks there (apart from saddo's like you and me).
Regardless of all the jibes and p155 taking that will no doubt ensue . . . I still hope it goes okay. If I get loads of sh*t off the back of this (from anyone), I'm going to start my own club (with one member).
1.20pm's good for me - however is it early enough to allow for 'unforseen circumstances' (your starter; I may need oil) and still give us all time to get settled in before the grand night out?
Happy to leave earlier but i understand that Drummerboytom has to work in the morning so can't leave south brum before 2pm...
im happy to leave when ever suites everyone else and as you say i might need a push start if the starter motor throws a tantrum again at any of the stops. so i might be wise to allow myself a little more time.??
I was working on 2.00 from Hopwood Services being early enough to get to the hotel for 5.00. I've done the route Brum to Bournemouth and Brum to Ringwood a couple of times , but not on a Saturday afternoon i must admit
I could probabley do 1.30 from Hopwood if people want a "cushion" or 2.00 from Warwick Services if you want to do a slightly more direct (but less interesting) route. I'm easy .
Helen i have your pink fur-lined hand-cuffs and gold lame hotpants
