Adjusting the image size deteriorates the clarity. Try this

Didn't renew my PCGB membership Oops!!. Didn't feel I was getting much from it. I even thought the periodical concentrated on modern cars and included loads of adverts for insurance companies etc, and especially the same set of adverts each issue was disappointing.

I'm happy to pay the higher rate for entry but really don't want to get turned away on the gate. Any advice????

Tom, Helen, Ian and all, if I'm in, then I'm definately up for the convoy. When's everyone heading back after the event?

My eyes are now blurred reading the posts and trying to untangle this entire thread. There's a few things I'm not sure about.

You're all staying at a hotel, but it's oversubscribed. Oh! Can someone give me the telephone number of the hotel, or the person organising the accomodation so I can find out if there's a chance?

You're all going to dinner at an italian restaurant, but there not likely to be any spaces left. Erm! Can someone give me the telehpone number of the restaurant, or the person who is organising this, so I can see if there's a possibility of adding people if I can make it.

The show's on Sunday, is everyone driving home on Sunday night or staying Sunday too?

Sorry to be such a burden, I should have paid more attention and got my *h*t together much sooner. But it sounds really good fun and I'm going to try and make this.

Cheers

You're a good man Phil, thanks. That covers my biggest concern so I'll just work on the other few issues, hotel, restaurant (and the girlfriend), so fingers crossed!! 8)

sounds like a plan forming here 8) suggest meet at Mcdees /Ashby services just off J13 M42 (colville/Ashby junction) at 1.20pm then head down the M42 to meet Tom at 2pm at either J2 Hopewood services or M40 Warwick services depending on which way we are heading afterwards????

1.20pm's good for me - however is it early enough to allow for 'unforseen circumstances' (your starter; I may need oil) and still give us all time to get settled in before the grand night out?

Crafti

Are you in?
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

Happy to leave earlier but i understand that Drummerboytom has to work in the morning so can't leave south brum before 2pm...

im happy to leave when ever suites everyone else and as you say i might need a push start if the starter motor throws a tantrum again at any of the stops. so i might be wise to allow myself a little more time.??

I was working on 2.00 from Hopwood Services being early enough to get to the hotel for 5.00. I've done the route Brum to Bournemouth and Brum to Ringwood a couple of times , but not on a Saturday afternoon i must admit
I could probabley do 1.30 from Hopwood if people want a "cushion" or 2.00 from Warwick Services if you want to do a slightly more direct (but less interesting) route. I'm easy .

Helen i have your pink fur-lined hand-cuffs and gold lame hotpants :drunken:
