Friends of mine have bought a great farmhouse about 30 minutes drive(north) of Le Mans, and I'll be staying with them.Lots of room for more porsches,tents,beer,wine,cheese,humour...
In a great setting too.

Will find out how much space they'll have for porsches and tents etc, quite soon,as I call them every ten days or so.

They may have even finished the big 'gite' barn conversion by then.Let you know when I find out.

Location-wise its about five minutes drive,north-west of 'Beaumont-s-Sarthe which is on the N138.
The N138 is the main road to Le Mans from Alencon.
This is the route you'd take if you arrived in France at Caen.

I am not worthy......

Seriously though guys and girls,I'll find out what will happen re how many people, tents, porsches can be accommodated. It would be cheap, easy and fun.

They are great people too, with a sense of humour, and love a glass of wine,(glass???)
And adore humour.
They are also my best friends.

Keep you posted.

Fingers crossed, I should know within the next couple of weeks whether I can be away during that time. I so, really, really want to go.

I'm just waiting for PCGB to announce their 'package' .

If we stick to the same format as last time, we (DDK) meet up at the ferry, cruise to the circuit, put up the tents, crack open the beer etc 8) :)
