Re: UK RHD '67S
It will be very interesting to see what the Bonhams car goes for. Could be a real leap of faith for a buyer if what I understand about the engine (non original) and chassis (chassis number on bulkhead rusted through) is correct. It could mean this car has no numbers on it to validate it is what it is being sold as.

It should still have the build numbers, which are the same as the VIN, as well as the last 3 digits of said number on doors, headlamp bowls, engine lid and bonnet.

Absolutely Nick assuming parts are still original and have not been gathered together from a parts bin. Have you looked over the car yet?

My man, Harker, will be viewing it tomorrow, I will look on Friday. I had a call from a JW today who has spoken to you and is thinking of bidding, he is also viewing tomorrow.

Glad JW managed to hook up with you. Decent chap from what I could gather, has a realistic understanding of likely restoration costs and wants to buy it for the right reasons.

Re: UK RHD '67S
First reports are that there is very little left of the car, no floors, no front bulkhead, no sign of an engine although there are a few unopened boxes. Via phone I am trying to ascertain if there are any numbers on the car at all!
