356 for Sale

Post by neilbardsley »

Compared to some of the cr*p they have for sale this appears to be quite nice. I find myself looking for the picture with lots of rust on the underside?

Now there's a car that will definitely have "issues" in the VERY near future.

Too cheap? Knowledge of the seller? Knowledge of the car? I ask out of interest; if I ever buy a 356 (and I'd love to) my family will insist on a RHD.

Just looking at the bonnet tells me that it has been dropped into place by a blind man.
Either that or someone has restored (butchered) the front end without a thought for bonnet alignment and on that basis it will all need redoing very soon.
Lets face it, if I can see it's bad in a few photos then it must be really bad in real life.

I wouldn't want to drive anywhere in that.
Notchback looks nice if you like this model (and I do).

I agree, looks a very nice car. Although you'd never win an argument stating the Notch design flows as fluidly as the standard Coupe I'm with you Hendrik - I like the Notchback as a design in it's own right - quirky and funky!
