Cheers left4dead! I originally did the conversion myself, and then have had a variety of people do bits and pieces. The two things which made the most difference were the steel bonnet that Fenn Lane made for me, and the paint which was done by Shorade.

Sladey! Good to see your car still getting lots of use (just saw your post on IB).

It is true that I did stalk Sladey via the Internet - it was reading his backdate thread here on DDK, and then coaxing him into meeting so I could have a look at it (thanks again Sladey) that resulted in the car above.

It's Birmingham International. Got off the train on Friday night, and just thought the car looked cool in the deserted car park with the late evening light, so snapped a few pictures with the phone.

After much lurking this is my first post on here, so please, be gentle ;-) The "object of my affection" is an early G50 3.2: it was first registered in january of '87. I adore it to bits. I have set of flag mirrors in the right color at the ready btw, but can't bring myself to put them on the car (even though I don't like the Cups it's got now), as "those in the know" say it will very probably need some paintwork to get rid of the marks that the current mirrors will very probably leave behind. Anyway... Here she is!

When I got the car 3 years ago, it had really old old Pirelli's on the rear axle, made in 1998. They had plenty of thread left, but were completely dried out. It made the car a tad skittish. And a lot of fun ;-)
