I think she may be correct, and likewise I will pop over but only in the daily driver.

Mike,

Saw your post on IB.com and will be coming along to check it out. Also mentioned it to a 993 buddy and he'll be coming along too.

Is it a 12.00 start? It is the first breakfast meet of the year at The Hare in Roxwell near Chelmsford on the 6th so will do that early doors and then a blat across to Bucks for this around midday. Just need to be sure what time we need to make a move westwards!

Cheers.

Yep that's the idea, Midday to get together and a look about, for a 1pm unveiling. Then a bit of a start up,
quick once round the block then back for a bit of nosh. Also a dyno demo...more of that later, chat with
Neil in his engine room, watch some dizzy testing and spend the afternoon looking at some great car's.

Then I don't know about you, but I'm off down the pub.........
cheers, Mike.

Now maybe here's where I can call upon the collective musical knowledge of DDK'ers to come up with some ideas,
I know from the 'what I'm listening to today' thread there are some great music fans out there. I've got one particular
track in mind, be interesting if anyone else thinks of it, but let me know what you would use. I'll chose the best and
put the others into a compilation that we'll play on the day.

I'll set the bar quite high to begin with, how about 'Start Me Up' The Rolling Stones.....
I'll suggest "harder than you think" by Public Enemy. More accurately it should be "more expensive than you think" but I think Chuck was having an off day.

Only two weeks to go till the unveiling and working flat out getting the car ready.

Sorry I've not had much time to update the thread, but thanks so much for all the responses, it should be a good turnout and
a great day on April the 6th, so really looking forward to it! The engines now gone in and all the oil lines connected, just doing
the wiring loom and fitting up the megaphones at the moment.

So a quick quiz with a new picture showing the engine in for the first time, forget the wiring hanging out, the fan housing loose
and the odd nut and washer laying around, but anyone spot something in there that wouldn't have been in an RSR engine bay
back in the day?

cheers, Mike.
