I just love seeing Barry's work and with such serious perforation this is going to be a fantastic car to see properly restored 8)

Well done for taking this on Richard, you've certainly got big balls and great to see another early car being brought back to life. :P

Now for some real Barry magic in the oil tank area where he has made up some tooling to deal with the problem area......I just love this attention to detail!

More work around the oil pipe area with Barry making up a strange tool to assist with locating the replacement pipes when they arrive.

In Barry's own words 'Another tricky repair area, with more going on than might be imagined: it's a compound curve (curves both ways), so requires the use of the English Wheel to make. Then there's the location of the pipe holes, the slight flare on the pipe holes (to be filled with brazing when the pipes go in, and the small bulge to the top over the upper pipe).'
