Sladey: Are you in touch with Ian's family? I wonder whether we could collectively show our support somehow.

Only just read this. Unbelievable. So sad. We shared some good times together such as the ring and Le Mans. Always smiling. What a terrible loss. My thourghts go out to his family.

I didn't know Ian other than through his postings here but it is obvious that he was very highly regarded, very well liked and a thoroughly decent chap so to hear of this news is truly, truly awful.

My heart goes out to his family and friends; I can't imagine what they must be going through right now.

Such a tragedy.

I'm not in touch but was planning on sending a sympathy card through. realistically we couldn't get it round the country in time for people to sign it, but if you want I'll put that it's from his mates on DDK including... and then list everyone who's popped a message onto this thread.

Happy to change if anyone's got better ideas

Cheers

Mark

Hi

That's a perfect idea, didn't know him but heard of Rita, really bad news can't get it out of my head.

Great Mark, good idea. Happy to contribute if we can find out what is happening for the funeral, flowers or otherwise.

Do you want me to see if we can get a floral DDK done?
