Thanks for the kind comments.

Its not looking very good. No "choppers" (just for you Jason) since Monday and the aircraft that ditched on Monday has had a complete failure of both the main and back up gearbox oil pumps. This is exactly what happened to the EC225 last May that ditched. We will have to see what they do but more than 70% of the north sea are serviced by the effected aircraft so as you can imagine quite a big back log of people stuck offshore. I should have been on the beach by now but it might be Sunday although 60 knot winds and 7 meter sea's are forecast so the weather my stop the flying program.

Hay Ho that’s offshore I suppose....Looking forward to a Gin and Tonic.
