Post by Dyno Soar »

I recently hooked up with a Nice chap on here by the name of Simon who came out check something I was peddling. :)

He turned up in this..

Glass bumpers, bonnet, engine cover, Perspex windows and R lights.

Its very light and VERY quick!!

It was nice hooking up with another DDK headcase and talk Porsche's and get the once over on my own Retro inspired Coupe'. Slick devil even managed to sell me something back! :)

I'd thought I would share :)

Cars like that make me go weak at the knee's!!!!

Im seriously considering doing somthing like that to my '68 911L,maybe an early 911S/T look?

But don't the fat arch's and wheels look sooooooooooooooo good on an early 911 8)

Im gonna have to start on mine soon.

Dreaming of driving a pre-A 356, actually commuting in a Cayman and for the weekend, a 911 'thing', with a Carrera 3 engine ( we think).

Exhaust looks to be home-made using a couple of cherry bombs.

My Exhausts!

Post by speedysimon »

Andy is spot on, i 've cut the pipes and slid the shortest cherry bombs (from Demon Tweeks) onto the headers. To knock the noise back i then fitted a pait or internal baffles, that i can shorten or lengthen to adjust the noise level.

My other aim was to lose the great big lump of weight every other silencer seemed to carry!

My first attempt was a pair of Suzuki 1100 racing silencers, but i found all the super bikes wanting to race me...

Still trying to post some pictures!

Enjoy..

by the way Simon here is how it looks when you paste the URL I was telling you about:

Imagehttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sra ... a.jpg%20[/img]

I have placed a space at the end of the URL and the close tag [/img] so that you can see what it should look like. First you need to get all the pictures you want uploaded to a host site.

Also Simon make sure you can make a appearence with the car at the ACE as we discussed. ;)
