!965 Beetle I built back in 1996/7 – 3.5-inch roof chop, glassfibre panels, 2074cc VW engine with dual 48IDA Webers etc etc. Built in the style of 1960s/70s VW 'gassers'.

Am I wrong or did it get a repaint after this asymmetrical 'Inchpincheresque' loveliness Uncle K?

Yeah its a complete dog It is an e36, and its great fun. 328i with a few choice mods and some weight loss. There's more to do but its a long term project so I'm in no rush, and having fun as I go.

I drove to llanberis for a stag do yesterday, then woke up (in a tent; most unusual for me) at 6:00 this morning and decided to sneak off for a drive before the rest of the guys woke up. Ended up being superb; just got lost around snowdons deserted roads for an hour or so, then at 8am when other road users started to appear, put the sat nav on and trundled back to the campsite.. Kind of wished I'd got up an hour earlier
