Dump question where is the camp site? In Karting Nord? Tickets arrived but not much info. How do I access it? If this weather continues I will be bringing the Landie!

This is the route to Karting Nord ( A ) from the roundabout in Arnage ( B) where the bars are located.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Unk ... 6&t=m&z=15

You will pass under the circuit and then turn left at the next roundabout. Follow the road & Karting Nord is on the left. Access off the next roundabout. Security will be checking for your camping passes before they let you on. Karting Nord doesn't usually get too wet etc as it appears to be quite a well drained site

Sorry - you've still got Ian Walton in with you. I might be coming too if the Ian Smith Clan get too much!

I've just had this email:
I have just heard about the possible problems set out on the Ticketmaster/ ACO website so just a heads up.

All customers in receipt of their tickets for both events should also be aware of the following statement from the ACO (Automobile Club de L'Ouest).

"We have become aware that the paper used for printing the camping & parking permits for both the Le Mans 24 Hours & Le Mans Classic, can over react to heat. Tickets that get hot will turn black quickly & then cannot be scanned.

We now advise all customers not to put camping or car parking passes in the windcreen of vehicles. Please keep the passes in the car & have them available for inspection by controllers, but do not leave them in the sunshine.

If any customers do experience problems with their passes, they should return them to the race day ticket office (Rotunde) where they will be exchanged for an E-ticket. Knowing plot numbers or barcodes will assist with this process."

Following this ACO statement, we are advising all Travel Destinations customers. not to put camping permits or car parking passes for either the Le Mans 24 Hours or Le Mans Classic in the windscreen of your vehicle. Keep them available in your car, but not in direct sunlight. Please make a note of the barcode on your pass, just in case you require a replacement. Please note that this doesn't affect General Enclosure or Grandstand tickets.

There is also topic on the DDK online website suggesting copying or photographing and printing the tickets for safety sake.

Anyone have a nagging feeling that their photocard license has expired? Don't look! Ignorance is bliss and now I'm a little stressed
