No more hot rods! Too distracting.

That repeat clip of the F1 car remends me of a modern F1 race...but maybe not...

Certainly shows some changes over 40 years.

Re the F! clip. Is there anything finer than a four wheel drift?

Spotted today at a garage I rent to a bloke . He wasn't around so I couldn't ask him about it .( typical , he owes me rent !)
Obviously a Lancia but does anyone know the year and who built the bodies ?

That's a Lancia Flavia convertible - body by Vignale.

They were built from '62-'68 - initially with a 1500cc engine then 1800cc & finally 180cc with injection.

A rare car in RHD I would think ...

Thanks Andy , should of known you'd recognise it . Am I right in thinking there where still a lot of cars built for the domestic market ( Italian) in RHD at that time ?

I don't think so - can't remember ever seeing another RHD Flavia convertible - they didn't make that many in LHD either (& I wouldn't think there was a great survival rate as they rusted pretty badly).

If that's a genuine '67 model then it's even rarer - probably one of very few with the injection engine ... if it's a genuine RHD car then I wouldn't be surprised if it is unique.

I'd offer to "take that old Italian heap off his hands" if he's behind on the rent...
