Just thinking about the normal Friday chicane photo and wondered if any of our members with a camper van (who wouldn't mind someone climbing on the roof...) could bring it along so we can get a higher vantage point this year in the centre of the group? :)

This shot is getting a bit out of hand :)

:) :)

Brendan, I know you like your panoramas, have you ever tried to capture something like the above then stitch it all together? I know it works great with scenery, but I'm not sure the angles of the cars changing as you moved across the seen would work. Any ideas?

One from Monday, you may recognise the location :drunken:

Gary I thought I would have a look at my 2008 pics and I was able to stitch the following together.

As your pic it's looks to small for Arran so must be Skye :)

I'll give the panorama a go in addition to the usual wide angle shot :)

It is indeed Skye and Raasay seen from the Applecross peninsula :) I had a spare couple of days and a car that needed miles so it seemed like a good place to go as I missed that part of the Scottish DDK tour due to a torsion bar snapping after the first day! ;)

Thought I would get myself some period paddock transport - seem to walk a lot of miles.

Does anyone know when 1st Ticket will be sending out the tickets? Or has anyone already received theirs?

Ian, check before you go that you will be allowed in. I remember in 08 Mark (912UK) got refused entry, but can't remember if it was a scooter or bike.
Looks cool though mate!

Thanks Russ. I am sure I have seen plenty of people on bikes, but...... ther're probably French, which would obvioisly make a big difference

Actually I am not too bothered about taking it into the paddock, more to get a bit further round the circuit than usual.

Anybody got a link to a map of the circuit and access points?
