Hi,
I'm looking for a good std/std 930 turbo or SC crank for the build of my new 3 litre twin pug motor. Does anybody have one, or know of one for sale?
Many thanks.
Tim

Hi Tim.
I have one which I would let you have if you are stuck but its not cheap as sod's law being what it is, as soon as its gone I will be looking for one for sure!.
That has happened to me too many times.
But right now I am not planning any 3L engines in the near future..
This came out of an excellent engine which had just over 70k miles when it was stripped to repair two head studs..
I'd only sell it with its set of fully rebuilt balanced and honed and shotpeened rods..£2000 the whole shebang ready to go...
I have the rest too if thats of interest.
Kind regards
David

Hi David, thanks for responding so quickly. Is this an 8 bolt crank from an SC, or from a 3.3 turbo?

Re: Wanted 930 turbo or SC crankshaft std/std
HI Tim
which crank are you looking for?? SC or turbo, as the SC is a 70.4mm and small big ends or the turbo with the larger big ends and a 74.4mm stroke, both will fit the SC case, SC crank will give 3.0Lt and the 74.4 turbo will give 3.2Lt with 95mm cylinders, or are you building a bigger engine??
what is wrong with your crank???
regards mike
