The mixing of old and new panels and the letting in of fresh metal inevitably means there's a lot of work preparing the renovated shell for paint to ensure it's slab perfect.
The shell ended up looking like a patchwork quilt and all panels have been on and off countless times - the end result is superb with all levels and gaps remaining pin sharp...

One of the repaired doors took a whole day alone to prepare - the end results are worth it...

The car received a second coat of epoxy before a few coats of high build primer and now the car is looking wonderful both inside and out...

Hard to believe it from the pictures below but there's been 130 + hours of work put into the car since the epoxy etch coat in the photo left to the high build primer stage in the photo right...

The hard work on the shell is now behind us, over the next few weeks we'll apply sound pads, seam sealer and underseal followed by 3 top coats of Porsche Light Ivory - can't wait!
